Updates! Only 7% places of nomination are used by now for TAS Skilled Migration Program

On 2nd September, Tasmanian Skilled Migration Program Q&A webinar were held to update some key information for the program. According to the Migration TAS, as of September, 240 nominations from Subclass 190 and 491 have been approved and 1346 applications are processing on hand. In other words, only 7% places of nomination are used by now.

Meanwhile, they emphasised that the importance of skilled employment for the applicants and also clarified what is skilled and unskilled employment to help applicants better understand. They indicate that the occupations in ANZACO skill level 1-3 are skilled, those in level 4-5 are not. Lower-level entry jobs like delivery drivers, dairy hands, retails assistance, front of house hospitality workers are not considered skilled, even those jobs are important and highly demanded.
